FTF is the California Seismic Engineer for the design of equipment supports and anchorage of the processing equipment at the Santa Barbara County ReSource Center, which is a state-of-the-art material recycling facility and anaerobic digester. Our team has been working closely with VAN DYK Recycling Solutions, Diani Building Corp, Mustang Renewable Power Ventures, and the rest of the design and construction team on this fascinating project that will increase the community’s recycling rate to above 85% while generating energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

FTF’s scope within this project ranged from providing seismic recommendations for pre-engineered steel framed structures supporting the processing equipment to the full structural design of the steel-framed support structures for the equipment and distribution systems, as well as the anchorage design of equipment and pre-engineered support structures.
